We have very low hour since overhaul of Caterpillar 3412DITA (mechanical) marine propulsion engine. 1000hp at 2100rpm. Recently removed from a ‘go-fast’ Magnum powerboat. Engine had very low hours on rebuild when a new buyer purchased the boat and installed higher horsepower Cat C32’s for more speed. These engines were driving Arneson surface piercing drives.
