About Us
Doug Shupe is the general manager of My Marine Tracker and has been actively involved in new ship and yacht construction since 1989. During this tenure, Doug has supervised the purchasing process for over 300 USCG Subchapter T and K boats as well as numerous luxury custom built houseboats and private motor yachts.
With this experience, we have developed an extensive network of vendor relationships from which to draw upon for their expertise and products. We have worked closely with various naval architects, interior designers and yard foremen to insure all the correct items are purchased for the project, on time and within budget.
Doug's love of boats started at age nine when he and his father built an eight foot long pram dinghy. At age sixteen, Doug completely refurbished a vintage wooden inboard runabout. In his later years he has crewed on various classes of inland scow sailboats.
